About Reel 30A

Reel30A began in 2018 as a one of a kind surf fishing rental company providing surf fishing rental services to the Santa Rosa Beach area. Since it’s beginning, Reel30A’s desire has been to share the fun and memory making experience of surf fishing with all of those in the 30A area, whether on vacation or living here locally.

The founder and owner, Blake Hunter, has over 25 years of fishing experience from fresh water to salt water, offshore and inshore alike. All of Blake’s time on the water has allowed him to be a well rounded angler who can adapt to the ever changing environments encountered while fishing. However, out of all of the fishing he’s done though, surf fishing is his passion. As a local to 30A, Blake saw an opportunity to share the love he has for this favorite past time with those around. There’s nothing else like it!

Reel 30A is the only surf fishing rod/reel rental company in the area. They provide the unique freedom to fish from the beach at a time and location that works for you and your schedule during your stay. Our various packages are not only more affordable than a standard fishing charter, but they are flexible and customizable to meet the needs of your trip!
